About Us
Buddhini Ekanayake
Buddhini began her career in 2001 as a video journalist and worked with Young Asia Television and Television for Education Asia Pacific. She is a documentary filmmaker and the a researcher and fixer for all Fixer Sri Lanka productions. She holds a B.A. (Hons) in Music from the University of Delhi and a Postgraduate Diploma in Media & Journalism from the University of Sri Jayawardhanapura. She was also trained in documentary filmmaking at The George Washington University, USA.
Amal Meemanage
Amal brings more than 15 years of senior media and advertising experience — including roles at J. Walter Thompson, Ogilvy & Mather, and Leo Burnett — to the logistics and visual coordination side of every production. As a passionate Street photographer and a naturalist with deep knowledge of Sri Lanka’s fauna, flora, and cultural landscapes, he also brings a documentary photographer’s eye to location scouting and on-location problem-solving.

Whether coordinating filming in remote regions, arranging sensitive interviews or adapting to fast-changing field conditions, we aim to provide calm, practical and dependable support throughout the production process.
Our role is not only to solve logistical challenges, but also to help international teams better understand the people, places and contexts they are documenting.
